Fruit Takes Time Chelsea Plank

1 Verse:
I asked the Lord for patience
He threw me into the waiting
Told Him to make me righteous
And I almost became a bitter man
Asked Him to heal His church
And He put my face to a mirror
I sought the strength of God
And I found it in my weakness
Oh, what a funny thing

Chorus:
Thank God, Your ways are better than mine
Thank God, Your ways are better than mine

2 Verse:
Now I see my foe as family
When I know my God as Father
And I walk the path that's narrow
Even when it looks longer
Now I know that I don't know better

Bridge:
Break my heart if that's what it takes
Find me faithful, good fruit takes time to grow
Mold me, shape me, change me daily
Find me faithful, good fruit takes time to grow
Break my heart if that's what it takes
Find me faithful, good fruit takes time to grow
Mold me shape me change me daily
Find me faithful, good fruit takes time to grow
