1 Verse:
Hm G D/F#
There is a mountain in between
             A Hm
What You have said and what I see
            G D/F#
Standing before this offering
             A G
My failing heart will fight to believe

Chorus:
       Hm A
On this altar, on this road
           E G
You have called me from my home
              Hm A
The weight I carry is not my own
         E G
Spirit move this heart of stone
         Hm D
How can I walk in my new name
           E G
Father of many, the promise You gave
       Hm A
On this altar, on this road
        E G
I lay down my flesh and bones

2 Verse:
Hm G D/F#
Here on this mountain I have climbed
             A Hm
Wrestling doubts that flood my mind
                G D/F#
When ashes and dust are all that remain
                    A G
Will hope for the world still come from my veins

Chorus:
       Hm A
On this altar, on this road
           E G
You have called me from my home
              Hm A
The weight I carry is not my own
         E G
Spirit move this heart of stone
         Hm D
How can I walk in my new name
           E G
Father of many, the promise You gave
       Hm A
On this altar, on this road
        E G
I lay down my flesh and bones

Bridge:
D/F# G A Hm
I will sing out until I believe now
      D/F# G A
You’re faithful to carry me

Chorus:
       Hm A
On this altar, on this road
           E G
You have called me from my home
              Hm A
The weight I carry is not my own
         E G
Spirit move this heart of stone
         Hm D
How can I walk in my new name
           E G
Father of many, the promise You gave
       Hm A
On this altar, on this road
        E G
I lay down my flesh and bones
