By God’s mercy and His indescribable Love I get to be one of His children. “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.” 1 John 3:1. Although I still don’t understand His Love towards me, I accept it by faith and happy to become part of this wonderful family, where God being absolutely sovereign and almighty is a Father who loves His children. One of my favorite books in the Bible, 1 John, tells us a lot about God’s love. It highlights the absolute dominance of love in our lives even today. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 1:7-11. As I try to live intentionally and render this in my own life, I find myself absolutely incapable of fulfilling this call. The more I live the more I realize that there is only one way to get this kind of love and it is through putting my trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who has already proven His love and died in my place for my sin to save me.
