Beyond Bethlehem

1 Verse:
The city of David, a star out of Jacob
The promise of prophets had come.
A birth long awaited, angels had named Him
But His work had only begun-

Pre Chorus:
Beyond Bethlehem and heavenly angels,
He grew in wisdom while patiently waiting-

Chorus:
To offer a gift no wisemen could give,
He entered the garden, suffered the darkness.
Then He was led right up to the top
Of a hill where the trees were all shaped like a cross.
The child in a manger became the Savior,
Beyond Bethlehem

2 Verse:
Growing in stature, teaching the answers,
Leading in wisdom and Light.
The world changed forever when He surrendered
Will to the Father on high.

Pre Chorus:
Beyond Bethlehem and heavenly angels,
He grew in wisdom while patiently waiting-

Chorus:
To offer a gift no wisemen could give,
He entered the garden, suffered the darkness.
Then He was led right up to the top
Of a hill where the trees were all shaped like a cross.
The child in a manger became the Savior,
Beyond Bethlehem

Bridge:
Glory to God on High, Glory to God on High
(Beyond Bethlehem Jesus became the Savior of man!)
Glory to God on High, Glory to God!

Pre Chorus:
Beyond Bethlehem and heavenly angels,
He grew in wisdom while patiently waiting-

Chorus:
To offer a gift no wisemen could give,
He entered the garden, suffered the darkness.
Then He was led right up to the top
Of a hill where the trees were all shaped like a cross.
The child in a manger became the Savior,
Beyond Bethlehem
