Thank God For Calvary Lifegate Worship

I know a place called Calvary
Where grace and sorrow flow in crimson streams
Crushed by the weight of all our grief
The Savior paid the debt of sin for me

There on a cross upon that hill
The hands of God were pierced with Roman nails
Wounded by the ones He came to heal
He could have saved Himself but chose to yield
The Son of Heaven gave His life and love prevailed

Oh, how great a love has the Father given us
Grace for all our sin so undeserving
All my heart responds in surrender and in awe
For what else can be done in light of mercy
I Thank God for saving me
I Thank God for Calvary

Oh what a strength has come our way
The power of God has broken every chain
Now by His blood and in His Name
The stain of sin and shame is washed away
The Lamb has overcome and ever He will reign

Hallelujah, Christ be praised
He alone is worthy
For only He can save
Hallelujah, Jesus reigns
Give Him all the glory
For He has made a way

Oh how great a love has the Father given us
Grace for all our sin so undeserving
All my heart responds in surrender and in awe
For what else can be done in light of mercy
All my heart responds in surrender and in awe

For what else can be done in light of mercy
What else can be done in light of mercy
I Thank God for saving me
I Thank God for saving me
I Thank God for Calvary
