Open the Well

The Chosen

Open the Well The Chosen

1 Verse:
Opened the well at the hottest part of the day
Traveling far, needing water, she gave Him a drink

Pre Chorus:
(She said) You don't know-know me, yeah
Nothing's ever cleaned my hands
Need a remedy so I can live again
Where do I run, where do I run to?

Chorus:
Would Youopen the well?
Open the well
Fill my needthat is deep within
'Cause I know if You're the drink
I won't thirst again

2 Verse:
You opened my heart
Gave me life, oh, despite what I'd done(Done)
Righteous and pure in Your eyes
I'm a daughter You love (Love)

Pre Chorus:
(She said) You-You know-know me, yeah (Yeah)
You're the One who cleans my hands
Found the remedy to help me live again
Now that I run, now that I run to You (Oh)

Chorus:
Would You open the well? (Open the well)
Open the well (I need it open)
Fill my needthat is deep within
'Cause I know if You're the drink
I won't thirst again (Oh)
Open the well (Well)
Open the well (Oh)
Other pools and streams end up running dry
But I know a pure wellspring brings the dead to life

Bridge:
My feet will never wander
From Your streams of living water
My feet will never wander
From Your streams of living water (My feet will never)
My feet will never wander (Wander)
From Your streams of living water (No, no)
My feet will never wander(They won't, they won't)
From Your streams of living water
