Wait (Deluxe Version)

Wait (Deluxe Version) Jamie MacDonald

That's why I'm gonna wait (Wait)
Wait on the Lord (Lord)
No matter the cost (No matter)
I'm glad to count it all as loss

I've been running circles lately
Like I'm grasping for the wind
One step forward, and five steps back again, oh

I wish I knew what I've been chasing
A dead-end road is all I'm facing
Trying to build my castle on the sinking sand

I've tasted and Lord, I've seen
Such beauty in broken things
Oh, and I'm so tired of doing it my way

That's why I'm gonna wait (Wait)
Wait on the Lord (Lord)
No matter the cost (No matter)
I'm glad to count it all as loss
'Cause now I know for sure (Sure)
You are my prize (My prize)
You're never gonna leave my side (Never)
No matter if I live or die
I'm gonna wait on the Lord
(Wait on Him, wait on Him, wait on Him)
Oh

And no matter how the seasons change
You are good, and Lord, and You stay the same
I'm trusting in the hand that's leading me
You said it, then I believe
Your words are the truth I need
And I follow wherever You lead

That's why I'm gonna wait (Wait)
Wait on the Lord (Lord)
No matter the cost (No matter)
I'm glad to count it all as loss
'Cause now I know for sure (Sure)
You are my prize (My prize)
You're never gonna leave my side (Never)
No matter if I live or die
I'm gonna wait on the Lord
(Wait on Him, wait on Him, wait on Him)
I'm gonna wait on the Lord
(Wait on Him, wait on Him, wait on Him)

No matter what the day brings
You're never gonna leave me

So I'm gonna wait
Wait on the Lord
No matter the cost
I'm glad to count it all as loss
