Desperate for Jesus

Desperate for Jesus Karen Espinosa

1 Verse:
You lead me to the garden back where it all started
Your desires here now revealed to me
And in this place that's secret
With an honest heart, I lean in
That I would confess the one thing I need

Chorus:
I am desperate for Jesus
To behold His holy majesty
I am desperate for Jesus
Just to see how beautiful He is

2 Verse:
How beautiful to dwell where God makes habitation
You have called me Yours, and now I call You mine
And in this place that's secret
With an honest heart, I lean in
That I would confess the one thing I need

Chorus:
I am desperate for Jesus
To behold His holy majesty
I am desperate for Jesus
Just to see how beautiful He is
I am desperate for Jesus
To behold His holy majesty
And I am desperate for Jesus
Just to see how beautiful He is

Interlude:
So beautiful
We wanna see You, God
Oh, we wanna see You, God
Oh, Jesus

Bridge:
Face to face
Just to know You're here makes me sing "I love You"
And my soul cries out for more, for more
And face to face
Just to know You're here makes me sing "I love You"
And my soul, it cries out for more, for more

Chorus:
I am desperate for Jesus
To behold His holy majesty
I am desperate for Jesus
Just to see how beautiful He is (How beautiful)
I am desperate for Jesus
To behold His holy majesty
And I am desperate for Jesus
Just to see how beautiful He is

Bridge:
Face to face (Face to face)
Just to know You're here makes me sing "I love You"
My soul (Oh, it cries) cries out for more (More), for more
Face to face
Just to know You're here makes me sing "I love You"
My soul cries out (It cries out) for more, for more

Chorus:
I am desperate for Jesus
To behold His holy majesty
I am desperate for Jesus
Just to see how beautiful He is

Outro:
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
Oh, Jesus, You're my one desire
Oh, and I want You more than I want anyone else
Yes, I want You more than I want anything else
You are the desire, Lord
You are the fulfilment, Jesus
Oh, to have You more, oh
Oh-ah-yeah, oh, to see You, Lord
Hey, we're crying out for You, oh
Oh, show us Your face
You're the desire of our hearts
Oh, we want to see You, Lord
I just want to see You
I just want to know You (To know You, Jesus)
Oh, I just want to be right here with You
Forever in Your glory, oh
Show me Your face (Woah)
Show me Your face
Show me Your face (Your beautiful, beautiful face)
Show me Your face, oh (Your beautiful, beautiful face)
Your beautiful, beautiful face (Your beautiful, beautiful face)
Your beautiful, beautiful face (Oh, we wanna see You, Lord)
Your beautiful, beautiful face
Your beautiful, beautiful face, oh
Show us Your face
Show us Your face, yeah (Oh)
Show us Your face (Oh)
Show us Your face
Show us Your face, Your beautiful face
Will You show us, Lord?
