A Father's Prayer

A Father's Prayer Cory Asbury

Can we do that?
Okay
'Kay
Last breath and then I'm praying and we gotta be a little quieter and calm down, okay?
Okay?
Alright, calm down, calm down
She's just being goofy, calm down
Okay, I'm gonna, I'm gonna pray (Okay)
Father, I thank You for these beautiful ones
These precious ones in whom is all-
All Your delight
Tonight, I ask that You keep them through the night
You watch over them and protect them
You quiet their fears
Let them sleep easy
And let it restore their bodies and their souls
When morning breaks over them
I pray that the first thing they would know is that they're loved
Not for what they've done, not for what they'll become
But because they're Yours, Your kids
Let tomorrow be full of joy and wonder
Go before them walk beside them
And find them if they wander
In Jesus' name, amen
