Let You Take the Lead (Maple's Song) Kim Walker-Smith

1 Verse:
             G
I'm fearless, smart, intelligent
                  H
On a mission. Oh did I mention
                       C G
That I can see a bazillion ways
                           D
to move it along
            G
I know what's best, I'll tell you straight
             H
10 steps ahead for every one you take
               C G D
Fired up on faith like a rocket taking off

1 Pre Chorus:
                            Em
Don't want to slow down
                D
But it turns out
                                       C
You're showing me right now
                   H
It's not always up to me

Chorus:
G
There's things that You're doing
H
Ways that You're always moving
    C G
You gave me ears to hear you speak
         D
Hands to let you take the lead
G
I gotta trust the best thing
H
Is sometimes just to rest in
   C G D
Your care, your plan, your love for me
                                              G
God, I'll let you take the lead

Instrumental:
G H C G D

2 Verse:
           G
I'm not afraid to speak my mind
               H
And though it's hard to tell sometimes
       C G D
I got a love that's loyal, deep, and true
              G
Give nothing less than my whole heart
            H
To win a fight against dark?
            C G D
If trust is what it takes, that's what I'll do

Chorus:
G
There's things that You're doing
H
Ways that You're always moving
    C G
You gave me ears to hear you speak
         D
Hands to let you take the lead
G
I gotta trust the best thing
H
Is sometimes just to rest in
   C G D
Your care, your plan, your love for me

It's not always up to me

I'm gonna make room
                                           D
Let You do what You want to
                                    Em
I know that You'll come through
                  H
It's not always up to me

G
There's things that You're doing
