1 Verse:
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood!

Chorus:
This is assurance, Christ came down to save us!
Left His glory thrown for wood and thorn and stone,
This is our assurance, Christ showed that He loved us!
With His blood atoned purchased as His own!
Hey, whoa, yeah!

2 Verse:
Perfect communion, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture immersed on my side.
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love!

Chorus:
This is assurance, Christ came down to save us!
Left His glory thrown for wood and thorn and stone,
This is our assurance, Christ showed that He loved us!
With His blood atoned purchased as His own!

Bridge:
This is my confidence, You have called me as Your own,
And You have proven it over and over and over again!
This is my confidence, You have called me as Your own,
And You have proven it over and over and over again!
This is my confidence, You have called me as Your own,
And You have proven it over and over and over again!

Chorus:
This is assurance, Christ came down to save us!
Left His glory thrown for wood and thorn and stone,
This is our assurance, Christ showed that He loved us!
With His blood atoned purchased as His own!

Outro:
This is my confidence, You have called me as Your own,
And You have proven it over and over and over again!
