Be Kind

Be Kind Jason Gray

1 Verse:
F
Brake lights, stuck on the highway
Am
Some guy cuts into my lane
G
Anger like an explosion

I'm mad and make sure he knows it
F
But I don't know what he's been through
Am
Family he's trying to get to
G
That's when the Spirit inside me

Reminds me to

Chorus:
    F
Be kind
                     Am
'Cause everyone you meet
                       G
Is fighting their own battle

Fighting their own battle
       F
So be kind
                    Am
'Cause everyone you see
                     G
Needs to know they matter

Needs to know they matter
       F
So be kind, kind...

2 Verse:
F
Long line, just trying to check out
Am
Behind me a kid starts to act out
G
First thought, this kid wasn't raised right

Next thought, I wonder what their home's like
F
Then I see - she's a single mother
Am
Just trying to hold it all together
G
She'd break down if she could afford to

It wouldn't cost me anymore to

Chorus:
     F
Be kind
                     Am
'Cause everyone you meet
                       G
Is fighting their own battle

Fighting their own battle
       F
So be kind
                    Am
'Cause everyone you see
                     G
Needs to know they matter

Needs to know they matter
       F Am G
So be kind, kind.....

Bridge:

Love of God flow through me now
C G

Is fighting their own battle

Fighting their own battle
       F
So be kind
                    Am
'Cause everyone you see
                     G
Needs to know they matter

Needs to know they matter
       F Am G
So be kind, kind

Who is my brother?
Am
Who is my sister?
