But the hope of God

Christ, the Word of God
Through whom all things were made,
He would condescend,
The lost He came to save
Through one man we died
But through this man we live
Christ our only hope
Became our righteousness
3 Verse:
Christ, the Son of God
Would hang upon the tree
For the sins of man
His blood would bring us peace
Christ would conquer death
By rising from the grave
What a debt, we owed
That Christ would fully pay
4 Verse:
Glory to our God
From whom all blessings flow
We were dead in sin
His mercies now we know
We have confidence
In this life and in death
We will be with Christ
