1 verse:
The cranes are flying, and winter is coming,
Bare trees sadly shed their last dying leaves,
The anguishing tunes winds are quietly humming
And shivering cold blows from misty fields.
2 verse:
What a joy for the birds, they will be in the south
Cold winter will never set foot on that land
Where blizzards don’t howl, and the sun always shines
As a vivid depiction of spring with no end.
3 verse:
Don’t be mournful, my friend, that winter is coming,
That sad, weeping rains hastened leaves to turn gold
Remember your years are like cranes swiftly flying
But you in your sins do not come to the Lord.
4 verse:
Spring will surely return and we're yet to see summer,
The beautiful lilies will blossom again,
Will you be with the Lord? It’s a question to ponder.
Will the wings of your life ever bring you to heaven?
