If soul has folded its wings,
There is no more power to fly above the dust,
Rivers carry it with the stream,
How to return flight and striving?
There are ashes instead of fire in the heart,
Thoughts of good the wind dispelled,
In the house of the soul it is deadly sad, -
Be strong, glorify Jesus!
Sing! Though tears flow,
Sing! Let the storms be angry,
Sing! Praise will lift the wings of the soul.
Sing! He is above grief,
Sing! The Lord is with you,
Sing! You hasten to fall at His feet.
Clouds will pass - they are not eternal,
The crosswind will blow again,
The bird-soul will fly higher.
Sing, do not be ashamed! Let everyone hear.
The choir in the sky is singing praise,
But, where are you? Where is your singing?
The choir never stops,
Only you are missing there.
